Cleanse Your Colon with High Fiber Foods

Are you a health conscious person but feel as if you are not as healthy as before? Have you been feeling overweight, irritable, or tired lately? Has your health deteriorated with age? If yes, your problem might be toxins, which can be eradicated by a colon cleanse with a high fiber diet.

When leading physicians gathered and discussed the issue of the human colon before the Royal Society of Medicine of Great Britain, they concluded that toxic colon is linked to almost every chronic disease known to man. Toxic colon is a result of  various poisons getting absorbed through our intestines.

The colon, located at the end of our digestive tract and measuring about five-feet, is also called the large intestine or the lower bowel. When we eat, most of the toxins travel to the colon where it is left for elimination. For our normal bowel movement, experts advise a daily dose of 20-35 grams of fiber. Unfortunately, in the United States, the majority of the population hurt their colons by getting only half of the daily fiber requirements.
